after ~a g e s~ of silently stalking the studyblr community I decided to make my own! so here I am!
who am I?
my name is Lily, I’m 18 years old and I am a first year Communications student at the University of Southern California. I speak English and am almost conversationally fluent (???) in Spanish. I’m planning on minoring in something related to Education/TESOL. After I graduate, I want to teach English abroad because I love to travel but I’m broke af + teaching does not pay well in the US.
what made me decide to start a studyblr?
I’m not great at studying. I try, but I lose motivation really easily. In December I found out about teaching english abroad and it sounded like a job that would match my personality really well. South Korea is one of the best places to teach abroad, so I’ve made up my mind to learn Korean and prepare for that. It’ll happen quite a bit into the future but I figured it would be best to start now. This studyblr is gonna keep me on track and make sure I actually study. So this is mostly gonna be a communications/korean language studyblr with some GE courses thrown into the mix (of course).
If I made like an actual blog would anyone give a shit? I would probably write about college life and surviving domestic violence and that kind of stuff
Hey guys, I know I haven’t been on tumblr in ages but I’ve been working my butt off to get into college. I got into my dream school (yay!) but the financial aid is NOT coming through and I’m already gonna be in a lot of debt just from the first semester (woohoo america!). If you guys could donate or even just reblog this post that would mean so much to me! My goal right now is just to raise some money to pay for textbooks. Even if I get them used and rent them it still adds up to so much money. Any and all help is so appreciated!! 💛💛
